Scots Volleyball Compete Against Iowa Wesleyan One Last Time

The Monmouth College Volleyball team played in a scrimmage against Iowa Wesleyan for the last time on Friday April 14th. Iowa Wesleyan announced that the college will close down at the end of the semester, therefore this is one of the last games this team with play together.

            “This will not be our last game playing together. We have one more game next week at Culver-Stockton College,” said Iowa Wesleyan Coach Ashley Baldassarre.

            The game provided an opportunity for both teams to get practice before the school year is over and provided the opportunity for Iowa Wesleyan players to see Monmouth’s campus. 

            “One of our consistent starters during our fall season is considering transferring to Monmouth,” said Baldassarre. The teams played five sets, the Scots won the first two and lost the last three.
