Each year, Monmouth College releases an annual security report. The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act requires colleges to publish crime statistics of the last three calendar years occurring on campus, in non-campus buildings, or on public property. Offenses required to report include criminal offenses, disciplinary violations, public safety-related incidents, and any other emergencies.
Regarding the Violence Against Women Act, the security report discloses crimes of dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. In 2024, there were 4 reports of dating violence on campus and 1 offense of stalking on public property. An increase from the year prior, with 1 report of dating violence and 1 report of stalking, both on campus.
Last year, there were a total of 10 liquor violations and 17 drug violations on campus, with no arrests. In contrast to 2023, which ended with 43 liquor violations with 1 arrest, and 39 drug violations with 2 arrests. As for criminal offenses last year, there was one report of burglary and one report of aggravated assault, both on public property. No hate crimes were reported on or off campus or on public property.
