Although many see masks as an inconvenience, some students on campus are putting that Fighting-Scots’ spirit to work and remaining optimistic. Students are using their masks as a fashion statement by coordinating the masks to their outfits or selecting masks that represent their personality. “I try to match my masks to my outfit. Nothing crazy, but enough so it is coherent” said Senior, Angie Capasso.
Junior, Kendall Burt, suggested that by viewing a mask as an accessory, it becomes less burdensome. “It can make the masks easier to wear. It also makes it more convenient because the mask is planned out with the outfit and will make me remember to bring it and wear it” said Burt.
