My name is Joe Doner and I am a junior International Studies and French major with an Environmental Studies Minor. I am the political editor for the Courier. I am the president of Students for Environmental Awareness, the president and founder of the Monmouth College Democrats, I am involved with Stockdale Fellows, Rotaract, and the Office of Intercultural Life house. My favorite literary character is Treebeard (That tree guy from the Lord of the Rings)
I am an avid analogue photographer.
My favorite musician is Stan Rogers.
I love collecting records (mostly American and Scottish folk).
I have been inside the United Nations HQ in New York 12 times but was denied entry when I tried for 13.
I have close friends in 10 countries around the world; China, India, Japan, Pakistan, Canada, France, Belgium, Scotland, Latvia, and Tunisia.
My favorite article of clothing is my beloved brown jacket that’s about 10 years older than I am.
I participated in a Fulbright program this past summer in Glasgow, Scotland (Alba gu bràth).
I am nearly fluent in French (Mais je suis encore un sot americain).
My favorite kind of food is street food, if it comes out of a cramped aluminum cart then I’m already sold!
