On Wednesday, January 24th, ASAP hosted its first Coffeehouse of the semester in CSB’s Veteran’s Memorial Room.
“We want the Coffeehouse to be a place for students to relax and chill and do homework if they want,” said Jackson Dempich, ASAP’s Coffeehouse Chair. He explained that the Coffeehouses are low-key and stress less events for students to chill and hang with friends.
Students could color an assortment of coloring pages, and in the corner of the room, people could pose for a Polaroid photo with accessories to choose from. With soft ambient music playing, students could hang out or study.
ASAP served warm beverages like hot chocolate, tea, and apple cider. They had fresh popcorn popped at the event and a spread of various cookies and donuts.
Dempich said the event helps promote other ASAP events they will host throughout this semester.
