Spaghetti Dinner and Fundraising for Chorale
On Friday, April 5th Monmouth College Chorale raised over $800 to put toward trips and opportunities at their annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser.
“The main reason for fundraising is so we can go on trips. I always think that it is such a great experience in multiple ways,” said Tim Pahel, Director of the Chorale, Chamber Choir, and Chair of the Music Department. Chorale hosted the event at the Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth. According to Pahel, the community's support was tremendous and appreciated by Chorale members.
In the past year, Chorale raised money for their tour to Greece during spring break. “It is so great to travel and see new things,” said Pahel. “When we continue to practice the same music to perform on tour, it definitely makes us better as a choir.”
