Just as the Scots season comes to an end, the opportunity for another win comes. The Scots took down Knox College 56-0 this past Saturday in the 133rd Annual Turkey Bowl. This ended the season for the Scots with a conference record of 8-1. This also resulted in the team having a three-way tie for Midwest Conference with Ripon College and Lake Forest College. Lake Forest College won the three-way tiebreaker, which resulted in them earning the Midwest Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship. For Monmouth, the team received the bid to the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl, which will be played at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday November 19th. This new bowl game intends to highlight Division III football form the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and the Midwest Conference, for the second-place finishers in each Conference. The Scots will play Concordia University-Wisconsin, who has the same season record as the Scots. The game will kick off at 12:05 on Saturday.
