On Wednesday the 19th, women’s soccer tied Illinois College finishing with a score of 1-1. Junior Madison Walker scored the Scots only goal of the game, assisted by Sam Koppers. Brontë De Zwart had ten saves for Monmouth.
“I think we started to connect a lot in the final third. We were finding feet and making runs. So, I think we just need to find more goals that’s all,” said Walker.
The Scots fought hard against the Lady Blues. “This game we had more intensity and better connectivity going up the field than we have in the past. We are working towards were we need to be,” said sophomore Lynn Rech.
