Last week Pi Beta Phi held a bracelet-making sisterhood in their chapter facility. Members came and created bracelets for their Pi Phi families, themselves, and anyone else they could think of.
Sisterhoods are meant to help create strong connections between members. They also serve to members that may be feeling isolated or alone a chance to form a sense of belonging to their chapter.
“Going to sisterhoods allows me to talk to some of my sisters that I do not normally engage with. It makes me feel like I am in a welcoming environment,” said Junior Grace Goodrich. “I have fun attending them and creating stronger friendships.”
The bracelet-making sisterhood was the first sisterhood that Pi Phi has had so far this month. Coming back from spring break and being able to see everyone again allowed sisters to catch up while doing a fun activity together.
