Despite the fact that, every year, ABC’s The Bachelor is said to have its most dramatic season ever, this year may in fact hold true to that statement. In case you haven’t watched the latest episode, a forewarning, as spoilers lie ahead. After one of the most dramatic hometowns ever, bachelor Peter Weber is down to three women vying for his heart: Hannah Ann, Madison, and Victoria P. Hannah Ann has surged as of late, and in my opinion is the frontrunner moving forward as the season concludes. Everything that could go right went that way for Hannah Ann’s hometown date with Peter, and I believe that she is a lock to make the final two. That leaves Madison and Victoria P. Madison, for many people, has been the frontrunner since the second week, when she went on a one-on-one date at Peter’s parents’ home, watching as his parents renewed their wedding vows. Madison, however, is questionable to move on, as she is supposedly about to “implode” in next week’s episode.

This stems from the ultimatum she inevitably poses to Peter, where she says that she cannot be with him if he sleeps with any of the other women during the Fantasy Suite week. This, as one might imagine, will undoubtedly cause some controversy next week, but I believe that Peter will not hold this against her for standing by her morals and her values.

The final candidate for Peter’s heart is Victoria P. She had the worst hometown date this week (or lack thereof), when she walked away from Peter after an uncomfortable conversation surrounding her commitment to their relationship. Personally, I believe that Peter should not have taken another chance on her, as she clearly has shown that she is not invested in this process whatsoever.

Ultimately, the next episode will prove to be the last stand for Victoria P. Peter has not said that he is in love with her, despite being in love with the other two, and yet he is giving her one last chance to prove her worth. Will she put her immaturities behind her and ultimately fully commit to Peter, or will Madison be the one to go by completely imploding in on herself?

Overall, next week’s episode is Madison’s to lose, and we will find out what happens next Monday.
