Organized by the Order of Omega, a Greek life honor society, the second annual Mr. Fraternity pageant had each sorority and fraternity on campus elect a representative to participate in the pageant. Last Friday, participants competed in several different areas: talent, trivia, spirit-wear, formal-wear, and public speaking.
Order of Omega members organized Mr. Fraternity as a fundraiser. Throughout the week, students donated to the contestant of their choice. The participant with the most funds raised, Jamieson Reis, was crowned Mr. Congeniality. Half of the funds raised will go to the Monmouth-Roseville Education Foundation and the other half goes to an organization designated by the winning contestant.
Mr. Fraternity was judged by Marching Band Director Eli Kelly, Professor Richard Johnston, and Dean of Students Karen Ogorzalek.
Participants included Jamison Reis, Jaydon Wilbon, Mathew Hipolito, Ethan Panganiban, Cameron Shook, and Baz Mekoum.
The overall winner was Cameron Shook, representing Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
