Order of Omega is a Greek Honor Society that celebrates the achievements of the most involved and active Greeks who also excel in the classroom. This past week at its initiation ceremony, the society welcomed ten new members from the following sororities: Alpha Xi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Pi Beta Phi. During the ceremony, the society also elected a new President and Vice President. The President for the 2021-2022 school year was Owen Mane-Davies, who was also the President of Zeta Beta Tau, and the 2021-2022 Vice President was Grace Simpson, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
The President elected for the 2022-2023 school year is Tori Cook, a member of Alpha Xi Sorority. “It felt great to get nominated for president, it was something I had thought about and wanted so it was great to know that other people also thought that I would be best fit for the role.” said Cook. The new Vice President elected for the 2022- 2023 school year is Lydia Perez, member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. The two main events that the Order of Omega host are the Greek Life Annual Awards Ceremony in the Spring and the Hall of Fame Induction in the fall.
