What better time than fall to cozy up with a blanket and watch a new series? The options are endless if you have a subscription to Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+. This fall, Anne with an E remains popular – it follows the storyline of the Anne of Green Gables book series and fits the aesthetic of autumn perfectly.

For Netflix if you’re looking for something romantic, Love is Blind is a top pick. It is a dating show with a twist, where the couples cannot see each other – you watch people fall in love with each other for who they are and not what they look like.

New to Netflix is Dawson’s Creek. The late 90’s show is packed with scandal and teenage love stuck. It’s a great chance to sit back and think about the early 2000’s (which some of you don’t have the joyous memories of).

The Vampire Diaries continues to be popular and highly addictive – and there are eight seasons to binge, which can occupy a lot of your time. Why not have a Netflix party while watching this series?

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a great spooky show to watch this fall, and there are currently three seasons to enjoy.

The Good Place is a show about the afterlife and morality, but don’t let the themes fool you – this show can also be extremely funny. It has been popular since its addition to Netflix and the plot twists will keep you coming back for more.

This summer, Avatar: The Last Airbender was added to Netflix, and if you haven’t watched it yet, it is a worthwhile binge. Once you’ve finished ATLA, why not try The Legend of Korra? This follow-up series is centered around Korra, the next Avatar in the Avatar universe.

Another cult favorite is Longmire. It has both action and drama to suit all audiences. Based off a mystery series by Craig Johnson the six season series will keep you on your toes.

On Hulu, What We Do in the Shadows is a comedy series about vampires, perfect for fall, and an entertaining watch. If more serious shows are your style, The Handmaid’s Tale is politically relevant and very immersive.

Another good watch that might take up some time is Son’s of Anarchy. It is a little more on the gory side, but the action and suspense will keep you well entertained for the seven seasons.

American Horror Story is on Hulu if that’s more your speed, and they have an extensive variety of nostalgic shows from childhood, including Drake & Josh. What better way to spend the evening than by reliving your childhood?

Some classic shows on Hulu that are sure to keep your two week cool-down interesting: Seinfeld, The Golden Girls, Family Feud, and Saved by the Bell.

On Disney+ there are many movies and shows that are not just for your younger sibling. Granted some of the older shows are a tad better than what is new in 2020--there are still some that can catch the eye.

Both the Star Wars series and specials and the Marvel collection are a good way to spend a few days catching up and geeking out.

Another fun escape is all of the Vet shows. Although they can be a tad bloody--they are a good excuse to just sit back and gush over the puppies, pigs, and reptiles.

Of course Disney+ is also packed with the channel’s favorite shows of all time like: Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and Wizards of Waverly Place.

All these streaming services have a wide range of content, and there’s something for everyone.
