When it comes to shopping online, I consider myself a professional. Whether it’s using Etsy for random vintage items and debating on which crystal necklace to buy, or looking on eBay for more vintage Care Bears (I have around 20), I have a talent for wasting my money on anything that’s remotely shiny or aesthetically pleasing.
I especially love looking on Sephora and Hautelook for discounted makeup. Did you know you can get some Fenty lipsticks for nine dollars? Well, now you know. I also love to buy Samyang ramen that isn’t carried in Walmart because those are the superior noodles, and snacks from home that I miss and can’t buy at the moment. Despite all of the snacks accumulating in my room, I continue to cave on different interesting foods.
This fall, I found a targeted ad for Demonia boots and immediately ordered a pair. I’ve worn them a few times but always reason that I need a new outfit to match them. TikTok provides endless options for my wardrobe.
I ordered a handmade mask recently that is covered in studs and chains. I am in love with it, but I had no reason to buy it other than I saw it on TikTok and decided it was going to end up in my hands. I often buy masks because they’re cute. I think I have one in every color at this point.
I also love ordering household items. I want organizers and bins for every item in my room. I especially want to order a tapestry. I recently caved and ordered LED lights for my room and it’s the best decision I’ve made this year. I may be a year late to the party but at least I have them. Finally, my hoodie collection is getting out of hand. I ordered at least 6 hoodies this year. To be fair, they are all very pretty. What are you stress-buying during midterms? Let us know on Twitter.
