Monmouth College rose in the U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges. In the 2020 edition, the college was placed No. 124 in the National Liberal Arts Colleges category. This is 11 spots higher than it was in 2018 and 50 spots higher since 2013.
In social mobility, Monmouth College was ranked seventh in the nation. This ranking evaluates the college’s graduation rates compared to different schools around the country that receive the federal Pell Grant.
“I hope that the students can be more proud of Monmouth as their college home. Rankings are not just about what the college is doing to improve the academic experience, it includes how students are engaging in their education, and allowing it to transform them. This is a very special place, with fantastic students, and it’s good when others recognize it,” said Dean Laura Hutchinson.
The rankings are a reflection as to how Monmouth College is always changing and looking for new ways to improve its new and present programs.
