Last Sunday, the Monmouth Civic Orchestra presented their Winter Concert. This is the first year in which the Orchestra has joined the Monmouth College family since the group’s creation in the early 1980s.
“I always think it’s a great time when the college can connect with the community, and give opportunities for students, and retired people, and anyone to just express themselves on their instrument,” said orchestra conductor Dr. Richard Cangro.
Now being offered as a music ensemble class, students can play alongside members of the community as well as some of the college’s professors.
