On Saturday, October 18th, as a part of homecoming, two new members were inducted into the Order of Omega Fraternity and Sorority Alumni Hall of Fame.
The Order of Omega Hall of Fame was established in 2015 to honor alumni who were active members within their chapters, demonstrated leadership in their current professions, and remained engaged with Greek life after graduation.
This year’s inductees included Pi Beta Phi alumna Debra Jackowniak Scarlett ‘95 and Kappa Kappa Gamma alumna Kristin Whitver Fouts ‘03. Both women have achieved remarkable accomplishments in their careers while also maintaining a strong connection with Monmouth College and fraternity and sorority life.
“In my opinion, one of the most rewarding aspects of fraternity and sorority life at Monmouth College is the opportunity to develop into well-rounded individuals,” said Order of Omega President Brontë De Zwart “I hope they [the inductees] serve as role models of how to transfer the skills we are all learning in our undergraduate roles to our postgraduate life and careers.”

“My need for context and for making deliberate decisions grew from seeds that were planted here. Saying yes to Monmouth and saying yes to Kappa launched a path I could never have planned, but one I’m endlessly grateful for,” said Kristen Fouts.
Fouts currently resides in the Indianapolis area and works as Director of Education and Chapter Development for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity Headquarters. After graduating from Monmouth, she served as a graduate assistant in Illinois State’s Greek Life Office while earning her master’s degree. She continued her involvement in Greek life by serving as an FSL advisor at Wichita State University and Western Michigan University, as well as a Risk Management specialist for Kappa Kappa Gamma Region 3.
“Joining Pi Beta Phi was one of the most defining choices of my college years and life,” said Scarlett. “Not just for the friendships, but because Pi Phi taught me what leadership rooted in service looks like.”
Scarlett, a Pi Beta Phi alumna, is one of the top dermatologists at Madison Medical Affiliates in Milwaukee. She has remained deeply committed to Pi Phi, serving as the president of the Milwaukee Pi Beta Phi Alumni Club, co-chair of Pi Phi’s 150th Anniversary Celebration, and holding multiple positions on Marquette University’s Alumni Advisory Committee. She also continues to volunteer in her community with the Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, originally directed by a former Pi Phi member.
The Order of Omega Alumni Hall of Fame continues to recognize outstanding fraternity and sorority alumni and reminds the Monmouth community of the lasting impacts that Greek life can have.
