On Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7 P.M., several representatives of on-campus organizations gathered in Mellinger Commons for “Game Night” themed trivia to celebrate Homecoming week. Admissions, Outdoor Society and Men’s Soccer, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Phi Delta Theta and Tennis, Zeta Beta Tau and Scots Student Senate, Alpha Xi Delta and Blue Key, Pi Beta Phi and American Chemical Society, and Kappa Kappa Gamma and Track all competed for a chance to gain Homecoming points. Among those representing an organization was Zack Manley, class of ‘27. Manley competed on behalf of Zeta Beta Tau and Scots Senate.
“I am very proud of how the boys did tonight,” said Manley. “We answered some tough questions and in the end our ball knowledge about Nintendo helped us out the most.”
Teams were quizzed on various categories, including Nintendo, board games, card games, PlayStation versus Xbox, and Monmouth College.
Coming in first place with 11,700 points was Zeta Beta Tau and Scots Student Senate, second was Pi Beta Phi and American Chemical Society with 11,200 points, and third was Phi Delta Theta and Tennis with 9,600 points.
