ASAP Schedule of Events
September 30th - October 4th Nominations for Homecoming Royalty Court: Students will nominate individuals for Homecoming Prince, Princess, King, and Queen. The four individuals in each category with the most nominations will be placed on the ballot for Homecoming Royalty!
October 14th - October 17th Vote for Homecoming Royalty: This will be done via a paper ballot in the Stockdale Center!
Tuesday, October 15th Trivia Night: Teams will compete in a competition testing their knowledge of Monmouth College, the Homecoming Theme, and pop culture. 7:00 PM at Mellinger Commons.
Wednesday, October 16th Homecoming Silent Disco party: With the silent disco you can listen to one of three music channels with DJ’s provided by the MC Radio Station. All are welcome and be sure to dress to the Homecoming theme. 8:00 PM at the Fieldhouse.
Thursday, October 17th Cardboard Boat Regatta: Teams will compete in a competition to see which boat will last! 7:00 PM Pepper Natatorium in the Huff.
Friday, October 18th Clothing Drive: Partnering with PIT (Pain Is Temporary); collect clothing items from the approved list to benefit the Central Intermediate School. Bring your organizations donations to the Lower Level Stockdale from 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Friday, October 18th Banner Contest: Banners must be hung in listed locations by 3:00 PM.
Friday, October 18th Spirit Shout: The Spirit Shout will begin at 8:00 PM on the football field. Rain Site: Dahl Chapel
Saturday, October 19th Homecoming Parade and Football Game: The Parade will begin at 11:00 AM from the parking lot of Faith United Presbyterian Church at 200 S. 8th St. and continue down Broadway. All entries must be lined up by 10:15 AM. The football team will face off against the Illinois College Blue Boys at April Zorn Stadium at 2:00 PM.
