Psych: Gus’s Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy

Season 2, Episode 10

Shawn and Gus have holiday dinner with Gus’s family before they go caroling. They end up at the door of their unfriendly neighbor, Mr. Fuller, who they find hanging dead from the stairwell. The police are called, and it’s discovered that Gus’s dad, Bill, had a feud with Mr. Fuller. Bill’s fingerprints are found at the scene, and he’s arrested. Shawn and Gus spend the rest of the episode unveiling the truth and the real killer.

The Office: Christmas Party

Season 2, Episode 10

All staff participate in a “Secret Santa” gift exchange at the office Christmas party. Jim pulls Pam’s name and gets her a green teapot, which he fills with mementos and a love letter. A $20 limit is put in place, but Michael splurges and buys a $400 iPod for Ryan. After Michael receives an oven mitt, he decides to switch the exchange to White Elephant. The party turns to chaos with everyone ending up with a gift that is personalized towards someone else. To help save the party, Michael forgoes company policy and buys several bottles of vodka, putting everyone in a better mood.

Season 2, Episode 12

Christina and Burke work together to complete a heart transplant for a child who doesn’t like Christmas and tries not to accept his new heart. They discover religious differences between one another while the other surgical interns Meredith, George, and Izzie help Alex study for an exam. Derek, a neurosurgeon, treats a man with a brain bleed, who fell off his roof putting up Christmas lights. Several other holiday-caused injuries are featured and treated throughout the episode.

Season 5, Episode 10

Phoebe collects holiday donations outside of Macy’s but runs into trouble. People throw trash into the bucket, and she puts up a fight. While Phoebe defends her donation bucket, Rachel discovers her boyfriend, Danny, has a special relationship with his sister. Rachel grows uncomfortable with how close Danny and his sister are. Ross, who is on “sabbatical,” attempts to help Joey write a play script, which makes Chandler angry.

Parks and Recreation: Christmas Scandal

Season 2, Episode 12

Leslie meets with City Councilman Bill Dexhart, who Leslie discovers is involved in several sex scandals. A reporter takes a photo of them together and rumors spread that she’s one of his mistresses. To distract herself, Leslie helps set up the Christmas Village in Pawnee, while Ron takes over some of Leslie’s other duties. Leslie gets Dexhart to renounce the rumors on live television. The episode ends with a successful tree lighting that Leslie helped orchestrate.

Season 7, Episodes 11 & 12

Michael finds out Human Resources employee Toby Flenderson is going on leave, and Holly will be returning to Scranton. He makes Pam plan a “classy Christmas party” in honor of Holly’s return. Darryl brings his daughter to the party, who has no interest in being there. Andy tries to help entertain her but fails. Dwight and Jim slowly start an intense indoor and outdoor snowball fight, where they show each other no mercy. Angela brings her new boyfriend to the party, who Oscar believes is secretly gay.
