With Spring Break around the corner, for many students, it’s a well-needed break. Whether you already have plans or are on a search for last-minute ideas, here are a few suggestions:
Relax
One of the best ways to spend the break is to relax. Classes and extracurriculars are overwhelming sometimes, so staying home, reading, and doing things to boost your mood is a perfect way to spend your break.
Travel
Getting away for a little while is a great way to reduce stress. Some of the most popular Spring Break spots are Florida and Alabama, but you don’t have to travel far or spend lots of money to get away. Make new memories and go on a day trip to a new town.
Volunteer
Another fulfilling activity is volunteering in your community. Spend time helping others by tutoring at a school or cleaning up litter along the road. It can be a rewarding experience that changes people’s lives.
Try something new
Increase your self-confidence this break by trying something new. Take a cooking or pottery class, or try a new sport or hobby. Doing something creative can relieve stress and help renew your attitude for the second half of the semester.
