Monmouth College welcomes Jordan Tice as new head coach.
After a year without a season, the Scots return with a full 2023 schedule and new head women’s Lacrosse coach, Jordan Tice.
Tice said “as a single coach it’s been both easy and difficult. But, the girls we have in the program make it exciting to kickstart.”
Sophomore Captain, Noelle Faulk is ecstatic to get started, “it’s really something to pioneer the program with Coach Tice… I’m eager to see where the season goes.” And the same goes for Tice. She said that she’s “looking forward to building up the program and seeing the tremendous growth from all players.”
As a coach, Tice makes her core values very much known to her team. One of these being maintaining good mental health. “The team needs to learn that being able to step away and take time for yourself is critical. The time and space away from the sport is as important as the time you give the sport,” said Tice. “A lot of coaching has to do with honesty and transparency.”
When the season comes to an end, Coach Tice hopes her team grows into “professional young women both athletically and academically.”
