COVID-19 Grants “Super Seniors” One More Season

Because COVID-19 postponed the 2020 season for Monmouth College Football, eight seniors have decided to come back and compete one last time during spring training and the 2023 season as fifth year players; Jeremiah Glen-Louis Charles, Nick Obsaint, Michael Lord, Carter Boyer, Tanner Tomaschke, Derek Brown, Ian Castellanos and Nickolas Serrano.

“After seeing how close we were to making the playoffs last season, getting the chance to come back and capitalize on that is exciting.” Tomaschke said. “This team has something special going on and with all the guys coming back for spring to build on that is going to be fun to see.”
