CHROMAKOPIA spends second straight week atop the Billboard 200

Tyler The Creator has earned his biggest debut ever with his eighth studio album CHROMAKOPIA. During the week of its initial release, the record debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, surpassing some of the most popular names in music right now like Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift. He earned his first-ever top 10 hits on the Hot 100 the same week with “ST. CHROMA” and “NOID.” The album has nabbed another consecutive week atop the chart and its track “Sticky” (ft. Sexyy Red, GloRilla, and Lil Wayne) marks Tyler’s third top 10 hit.
The Recording Academy unveils nominations for its 2025 Grammy Awards.
Last Friday, the Recording Academy announced its 67th annual Grammy Awards nominations. Beyoncé led the way with 11 nods, bringing her career total to 99. She’s become the most nominated artist in the show’s history. Her genre-bending Cowboy Carter scored nominations in four categories (country, pop, rap, Americana) and three in major categories album, record, and song of the year.
Next in line with seven nominations each are Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone. Finally, they’re followed by Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter with six apiece. Roan and Carpenter are a new addition to this elite club of artists, who’ve been nominated in all of the Big Four categories.
