What made you want to apply for president of your fraternity?
“I wanted to run for fraternity president because of my experience and passion. I have previously served as the Operations Director for the past two years under two different presidents, where I learned many of the ins and outs of managing a fraternity here at Monmouth College. I knew I had the necessary skills and experience to fulfill the position in my fraternity. This fraternity has become very special to me, and I wanted to help share the experiences, opportunities, and life-long friendships with others and what we truly do here at Monmouth College as a men’s fraternity.”
What are you looking forward to this year?
“I am looking forward to all we can accomplish this year together, not only as an executive board, but as a fraternity, and as a college campus here in Monmouth. Whether it is through philanthropy, service, brotherhood events, or heritage events, it is important to focus on our mission and commitment to the betterment of ourselves, the fraternity, the college, and the community around us.”
What are some goals you have for yourself, your team, and your chapter?
“I have goals to continue work in our philanthropy efforts, for Jewish Women International, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation. I am working to increase risk prevention education in the fraternity through physical, mental, and emotional wellness. I want us to continue our efforts in academics within the fraternity.”
What are some plans you have to collaborate with other groups on campus or to be more present on campus?
“ZBT has plans to collaborate at least once with every Greek organization on campus in an exchange or event. We are also attempting to plan events with outside organizations to strengthen our relationships on campus beyond Greek life.”
