In an effort to help the community, Monmouth College organized a blood drive with Impact Life on Thursday, March 16th. The drive took place in the Huff Athletic Center and lasted from 12pm-5pm. The blood drive was open to all students, faculty, staff, and Monmouth locals.
"It's a small thing that I can do to help others," said David Richardson, a student who donated blood. "Knowing that my donation could potentially save someone's life makes it all worthwhile."
The blood collected during the drive will be used to support hospitals and medical facilities throughout Illinois. It will be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including cancer, trauma, and surgical procedures.
