I just really want to know how people in my dorm REFUSE to swap our their laundry in a timely manner?

No matter what dorm you live in, this is always an issue in the laundry room. Unless you live close to home and take your laundry there. I would say give that full washer about 20-25 minutes before you go an mess with it. I know this really isn’t too feasible if you’re strapped for time, but sometimes people just plain forget. But after it has been close to a half hour (truly), then I’d say you are good to pull it out and put your stuff in. Granted there is some leeway and some specific examples, but if it’s a continual issue, I’d send out an all hall email to call ‘em out. Good luck!
