ACE is the new Academic and Career Excellence space in Hewes Library. The new ACE space in Hewes Library houses the Office of Global Engagement, Office of the Registrar, Office of Student Success and Accessibility Services and the Wackerle Center for Career, Leadership, and Fellowship. These offices are crucial to many students and their success while they are here at Monmouth College.
Over the summer, these offices made the big move to one centralized location across from Einstein’s. “I am very excited about this change and the fact that ACE will provide assistance to students without asking them to go to multiple offices. It is my hope that this change will help students understand the importance of integrating their education here at Monmouth with the world of work and community service/volunteerism. We are all very excited to work together and support our students from the same space.” Said Jenny Sanberg, Assistant Director of Career/Development/Internship Coordinator.
Supporting students is exactly what the new ACE space is doing for students. Having the student success offices in one centralized location instead of different places around campus helps those students know that their success is the college’s priority. Since the library now holds the ACE space, the library is not only the place to get homework done and get some Einstein’s; having the ACE space brings students in to help them in aspects all around the spectrum.
